FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
What is your booking process?
We like to keep things really straight forward and transparent for you. It is as simple as filling out a booking form and then paying a 25% deposit. The remaining amount will not be due until the week of/just before your wedding.
How much will travel cost?
Depending on where we are coming to but travel is inclusive up to 20km from the Wellington Railway Station. Please ask for our travel rates beyond this.
Do you provide all of the product?
Yes we do. We even provide you with a little lip kit, so you can touch up as the night goes on.
Where will my trial be held?
We are a mobile service so we will come to you wherever you are and make that space work.
When will we do my trial?
That is up to you, however we recommend anywhere from 1-3 months out from your wedding date.
What products do you use?
All of our artists use the best of the best. For hair we mainly use Kevin Murphy and makeup is a good variety of MAC, Bobbi Brown, Bare Minerals, Urban Decay.
How much time will you need on the day?
We don't want to rush you and you should never rush art. However we are professionals and can work to deadlines. Our time frames are 1 hour per person, per service, per stylist. This allows for set up, pack down, touch ups and a wee pitstop for the artist- shall they need. Example: 1 Bride + 3 Bridesmaids Hair and Makeup- total of 4 hours.
How many artists will I have?
Our artists can do up to 6 clients and anything over that, we usually like to bring in more troops.
Do you have a minimum booking amount?
For Weddings, yes we do. We need 4 people minimum for both hair and makeup.
Will my styling last all day and night?
We will be doing everything in our power to ensure it does.
What if I need to be ready early in the morning?
We do charge a little extra for the super early starts, please enquire.
